Playing in the Victorian Amateur Football League's Women's Development Division Two in 2017 Collegians enjoyed a highly promising season winning 9 out of 14 matches to qualify for the finals in second place. However, they then suffered the disappointment of bowing out of the flag race with "straight sets" finals losses to Old Camberwell by a goal and Old Carey by a heart breaking single point margin. In 2018 Collegians lined up in the eight team Premier B Blue Division, winning 5 and drawing 1 of their 14 matches to finish fifth.
